Be real, you're here because you're an amateur DIYer looking to do some plumbing on the cheap. You watched a youtube video on how to use a sharkbite, and you don't need the fancy tools, you just need the bare minimum to get the job done. You're going to make a couple of cuts in your copper pipe to throw in that valve or whatnot, and then this thing is going to disappear into your toolbox and never be seen again. If that's you -- this is your tool. It's painfully slow spinning it around and around my copper pipe, it took about two minutes each cut - so slow that I wasn't even sure it was doing anything at first. But, it made a smooth, square cut. I hit it with some sandpaper to smooth the edge, threw on my sharkbite, and finished my job for less than it'd have cost to even have a plumber show up to look at it.
