Worked well for the project I had, adding a pex-a water line in my kitchen. Could see how it might be hard to use in a cramped area but I found I was able to expand the fittings outside of the wall and had a good 20 seconds to get everything in place before it shrunk back down. Tool had good leverage and it didn't take a lot of force to expand the fittings, much more cost effective than the battery powered expansion tools. Would recommend for someone doing their own home plumbing.
